We had a wonderful Easter weekend.
It started with an Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Papa's house. The kids had a wonderful time hunting easter eggs in their particular "zone" of the backyard. They all found their allotted eggs and a good time was had by all. Then we all enjoyed a delicious brunch courtesy of Papa.
On Easter Sunday we went to church and the kids enjoyed another Easter egg hunt. We didnt' get a picture of it but the kids had chocolate all over themselves and their (new) carseats on the way home. We then spent the afternoon at "Grandpa Tom's" (Austin and Alora's grandfather). We feasted on a lovely Easter dinner and the kids played.
Life in general is also treating us very well.
Abigail, Sam and I spent 5 days in Colorado in the beginning of March to
visit cousins and Grammy and Abuelo. Matt stayed home working and also got a ton of stuff done around the house-stuff that just doesn't get done with 2 small kids running around. Matt is continuing to enjoy his new job as director. Although I am not working currently, I have been helping teach CPR classes at the hospital. It is a fun way to get out and use the medical part of my brain a few times a month.
We are starting to eagerly anticipate the arrival of our new little boy. His arrival date is scheduled for June 6th 2008. (Scheduled
c-section). We hope and pray he will be comfy cozy and stay in that long as Sam was 3 weeks early and had some breathing issues.
We hope life is treating everyone well. We also hope you had a wonderful Easter! I will leave you with some pictures of the kids Easter egg hunting.....

Life is good in the Cleveland household!
Abigail and Sam are growing like weeds. Abigail is almost 3 years old and mostly in 4T clothing. She is so tall and thin. Just like her mom used to be...
Abigail loves, loves, loves her baby dolls and anything princessy. I am not sure where she got this from as I was such a tomboy as a kid!
Sam is walking all over the place and with his new found freedom he has developed quite the penchant for injuring himself-he is such a boy! He was in the ER last week getting dermabond (liquid stitches) over his eye. He climbed over the couch and fell onto the tile floor. He was at the doctor yesterday after falling at gymnastics and twisting his ankle. He does recover quickly though-I think so he can find the next unique and exciting way to injure himself-and keep his mother's blood pressure up. I never knew that all those hours I logged working in the ER would come in so handy!
I am feeling good. 22 weeks and counting! We found out a few weeks back that we are having another....BOY!!! I was quite shocked as I thought it was a girl. Abigail had been hoping and hoping and hoping for a little sister and cried and cried at the ultrasound when we told her it was a boy. But she is adjusting quite nicely as she is starting to understand that there are definite advantages to being the only girl!
I won't go into too much detail but we had a wonderful time over Christmas visiting family and friends in Colorado. I will leave you with pictures of the kids and their Colorado cousins.
Thanks for keeping up with The California Clevelands!

It's so much fun when they start to learn to communicate. Tonight Sam was attempting to repeat a lot of the words we were saying. At bed, I sang and prayed with him and wasn't sure if he was ready to get in bed yet or not. I said, "Sam do you want to get in bed now," and to my surprise he immediately and clearly shook his head no. I asked him if he wanted to sing another song and he gave a contented grunt which means yes. I asked a couple of more times to try to get him to say yes, but he wouldn't pull his thumb from his mouth, and eventually just shook his head yes. I asked if he wanted to sing Silent Night and he smiled and grunted again. I started singing it and he started laughing. It seemed he was as pleased with the successful communication as I was. We sang a couple of more songs and he turned his head toward mine until our cheeks touched and he hugged and/or kissed me with his thumb still in his mouth. After a few more unsuccessful communication attempts I decided that he seemed ready for bed and I put him down.
